ABOUT ME

Ever since my grandmother introduced me to the art of photography, I have been a passionate and avid photographer myself. I remember browsing through her black-and-white photos as a child and being impressed by these treasures in cardboard boxes and old albums. Back then, photography was a mystical craft which involved an enormous amount of technical knowledge and taste for composition, color and symmetries.

Many years have since passed and I continue to appreciate the complex nature of photography. I also see it as an inevitable part of who I am, for I am happiest with a camera glued to my hand. Photography challenges me in every way imaginable, it always keeps me on my toes and that is precisely why I could never fall out of love with it. It makes me see things more closely, look more attentively, search for new angles. It turns a glimpse, a moment of everyday life into a treasure hunt for a story to tell.

Amongst my greatest influences are Elliott Erwitt, Henri Cartier Bresson and Werner Bischof.
